Local Circular Economy Development

“I’ve been working on a way to visualize how everything connects at home—water, energy, materials, and food systems.

To help visualize how these systems connect at home, I put together this simple map

It’s interesting how small changes in one area ripple through the whole system.”

I’ve also started putting together practical tool-kits to help apply these ideas at home—covering energy, water, and landscape systems.

Why this matters in our community

  • Reduces pressure on municipal systems
  • Builds resilience to drought and energy costs
  • Keeps resources and value circulating locally

This is the beginning of a larger conversation about how we design our homes, neighbourhoods, and communities to work more like systems—and less like isolated parts.
